On November 12th, a disastrous 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck the West of Iran, the Kermanshah Province claiming the lives of more than 530 people & rising, injuring over 7,000 people, and destroying hundreds of and impacting 1,950 villages.
The earthquake has been the most devastating in the world this year.
We, at Children of Persia, would like to express our sincerest condolences to all who lost their loved ones to this devastating tragedy and hope for healing and recovery for all injured.
Children of Persia is diligently working with our partners in Iran to assist in an organized manner in addressing the immediate and urgent needs on the ground while planning for long-term projects.
As we have done after the Bam and Azerbaijan earthquakes, Children of Persia will be requesting for your kind support, through contributions to help the earthquake victims recover and to rebuild the Kermanshah Province in Iran.
